Tokyo Jazz Club

Shibunkaku is pleased to present works by Ishikawa Kyuyoh at the inaugural edition of Tokyo Jazz Club.
Building on the legacy of Basel Social Club, founded in Basel, Switzerland, in 2022, Tokyo Jazz Club is a new cultural event launching in Tokyo in partnership with Art Week Tokyo. Inspired by Japan’s jazz culture, it brings together contemporary art, performance, music, food, and social encounters across all eight floors of a former capsule hotel in Kanda-Nishikicho.
We invite you to discover Ishikawa’s calligraphy in this setting, where diverse forms of artistic expression meet.
